During a trial run, a small rocket is launched into the air. The function y =—16x2 + 96x represents the height y (in feet) that the rocket was above the ground at any time x (in seconds).

Use a calculator to graph the function and find:

a. the maximum height that the rocket reached.
b. the time it took the rocket to drop back to the ground.
