Kirk P. Gaddy

Kirk P. Gaddy, Ed.D.

Kirk P. Gaddy is currently the principal of St. Katharine of Sienna School in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. He served at St. Katharine of Sienna School as coordinator of the middle school, assistant principal, and summer school principal from 1990 to 1993. He was appointed principal at St. Alphonsus-Basilica School in 1993 and was reassigned to St. Katharine School as principal in 1997. Earlier, from 1986-1990, he served as dean of admissions and dean of student activities at St. Frances Academy. Dr. Gaddy was elected president of the Elementary School Principals Association of the Archdiocese of Baltimore in 2001. In 2003, he was selected as Principal of the Year for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. He is a member of the Naimah Ministry, which writes and produces Keep on Teaching, an African-American catechesis resource manual for religious education, for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. He also serves as a writer for the Catechetical Sunday Resource Book published by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. He is a consultant to the Sadlier-Oxford Publishing Company in mathematics education and religious education. He received his undergraduate degree and a master's degree in education from Loyola College in Maryland, and an Ed.D. in education leadership from the NOVA Southeastern University.
